BEHIND THE BOOK
GETTING PUBLISHED ELEVATES YOUR BRAND
Being featured in a Signature Boutique Books publication is not something we extend broadly. We are selective because selectivity is the entire value proposition — for the professionals featured, for the readers, and for the integrity of the books we publish.
When a prospective client sees an architect's or designer's work in one of our books, they understand something specific: an independent editorial eye reviewed this work and judged it worthy of inclusion. Our experience confirms these findings. The professionals featured in our publications tell us that the book becomes a centerpiece of their client relationships. It sits on the conference room table. It goes to the initial meeting. It communicates a standard before a single word is spoken. It elevates their work and sets them above the competition.
This is what editorial curation produces — not just visibility, but a valuable tool of validation that lasts for years.

BE ON THE COVER. A LUXURIOUS GIFT.
One of our standout offerings as a book publisher is our custom cover books.
These exclusive books aren’t for sale; instead, they are specially printed in small runs and serve as luxurious gifts and marketing tools for those featured within. Designed for private use, they are only available to select individuals we choose to include in the book.
Our custom books not only enhance the brand image of our featured designers but also exude luxury and exclusivity, elevating the standard for client gifts. They leave a lasting impression on recipients and, most importantly, are timeless treasures that adorn coffee tables for years to come. Some people opted for more than just one custom cover.

THE BACK STORY
Everyone who owns a business or has accomplished a big dream knows it takes passion and persistence to make it happen! When I set out to publish my first book in 2002 (printed in 2003) I had all kinds of feelings, including fear and excitement but mostly determination! Back in the day we used to have face to face meetings, no email, not much cell phone interaction, definitely no texting….So I drove all over Texas (with a mapsco) to meet in person with some of Texas’ greatest interior designers like @gingerbarber.interiordesign @kellygaleamen @debbie.baxter @fernsantini @janepagedesigngroup @cherylvanduyne @palmertoddinc @jeidesign and many others!
I’m feeling extra thankful to all the interior designers who took a big risk and decided to collaborate with me on my first book Spectacular Homes of Texas - 20 years ago!
This title was replicated in over 20 markets across the US, Canada and London. Thank you for supporting me and for your continued support, I couldn’t have done this without all of you!
My 17th book is my most recent book, Women of Architecture & Design. Some of the same names in my first book from 2003 will be featured in my new book - I love that.
